App: NapMap — Baby Nap & Day Planner
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Effective date: June 13, 2026
Everything you enter in NapMap — your baby's name, date of birth, sex, schedules, sleep history and growth notes — stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. We collect no personal information. The only data that ever leaves your device is anonymous usage analytics, and only if you explicitly opt in. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
NapMap is developed and operated by Septynetai, MB, located in Sembų g. 2, Buivydiškių k., Vilniaus r..

We do not collect any personal information. NapMap has no user accounts and no backend of its own. Everything you enter stays on your device (see Section 3). The only information that can leave your device is anonymous, opt-in usage analytics (described in full in Section 4) and crash & diagnostic data sent when the app encounters an error (described in Section 5). Specifically:
NapMap stores the following data locally on your device using the device's standard local storage mechanism. Except for the anonymous install identifier (only when you opt in to analytics — see Section 4), this data never leaves your device.
| Data | Purpose | Storage key |
|---|---|---|
| Baby profile — name, date of birth, sex | Personalising the app and age-based guidance. Stays on your device; never transmitted. | babyapp_name, babyDOB, babySex |
| Schedule settings & today's generated schedule | Remembering your configuration and showing the day's nap/awake timeline | scheduleState |
| Sleep history (daily summaries) | Showing past days and trends (kept up to ~365 days) | dailySummaries |
| Growth entries (weight, height, head circumference) | Charting your baby's growth over time | growthEntries |
| Notification settings | Remembering which reminders you enabled and their timing | babyapp_notifications |
| Theme preference (dark / light) | Remembering your display preference | babyapp_theme |
| Anonymous install identifier | A random ID with no personal meaning, used to group anonymous analytics events by install. Only sent off-device if you opt in to analytics (Section 4). | napmap_install_id |
| Analytics consent choice | Remembering whether you opted in to or declined analytics | napmap_analytics_consent |
Only the current day's generated schedule resets automatically each new day; your profile, sleep history, growth entries and settings persist on your device until you delete them. You can clear everything at any time using Reset in Settings, or by clearing the app's storage/cache in your device settings.
To understand which features are useful and to improve NapMap, we use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to collect anonymous usage data. This is strictly opt-in:
What we collect when you opt in:
napmap_install_id) used only to group these events by
install. It is not linked to your name, email, or any account.
What we never collect or transmit, even when you opt in:
Where the data goes. Analytics data is processed by PostHog on servers located in the European Union. PostHog acts as our data processor and handles the data only on our instructions. See PostHog's privacy policy at https://posthog.com/privacy.
Legal basis (GDPR). We process this anonymous analytics data only on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time in Settings with no effect on the app's functionality.
NapMap uses Sentry, a third-party error monitoring service, to collect crash reports and diagnostic information (such as error logs, device type, operating system version, and app version) when the app encounters a problem. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs and improve app stability. It is processed and stored by Sentry on our behalf. Sentry may process this data outside the European Union. We do not use this data for advertising. For more information, see Sentry's privacy policy at sentry.io/privacy.
NapMap may request the following device permission:
| Permission | Reason | Data sent off-device? |
|---|---|---|
| Local Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) | To display on-device reminders for upcoming nap windows or awake time transitions. Notifications are scheduled and displayed entirely on your device. | No |
Notification permission is optional. The app functions fully without it. You can revoke permission at any time in your device settings.
NapMap is designed to help parents and caregivers track nap schedules for infants. The app does not collect any personal data from children or from users of any age. The information you record about your baby (name, date of birth, sex, schedules, growth) stays on your device and is never transmitted; our opt-in analytics (Section 4) is anonymous and deliberately excludes any information about your child. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations.
Two third-party services may receive data from the app:
We do not use:
In addition, the Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS) may collect aggregated, anonymized install and crash statistics as part of their standard platform operations. That data is governed by their respective privacy policies and is not controlled by us.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed only by our service providers acting on our instructions: PostHog as our analytics processor, and only when you have opted in (Section 4), and Sentry as our crash-reporting processor (Section 5). All other app data remains on your device under your full control.
Your personal data, and everything about your baby, stays on your device, so its attack surface is limited to the device itself. The only data sent off-device is anonymous analytics (when you opt in), transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections to PostHog. We recommend keeping your device operating system and the app updated to benefit from the latest security patches.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because the data you enter stays on your device and our only off-device processing is anonymous, opt-in analytics, most of these rights are satisfied by design:
For any GDPR-related requests or questions, contact us at hello@napmap.site.
On-device data is retained on your device until you remove it: the current day's schedule resets each new day, while your profile, sleep history (up to ~365 days), growth entries and settings persist until you clear them via Settings → Reset or by clearing app data in your device settings.
If you opt in to analytics, anonymous event data is retained by PostHog according to our project's retention configuration and PostHog's policies. You can stop further collection any time by disabling analytics in Settings, and request erasure of existing analytics data by contacting us (Section 14).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If material changes are made, we will update the policy URL in the app store listing. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
